TabExtract is a free, browser-based tool that extracts tables from images using Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology. The Service operates entirely within your web browser — all processing is performed locally on your device, and no data is transmitted to external servers.

The Service is provided free of charge for personal and commercial use.

3. User Responsibilities

By using TabExtract, you agree to:

  • Use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
  • Not use the Service in any way that violates any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation.
  • Not attempt to interfere with, compromise the system integrity or security, or decipher any transmissions to or from the servers running the Service.
  • Not use the Service to process documents that you do not have the right to use or process.
  • Not engage in any automated or excessive use of the Service that may degrade its performance or availability for other users.

4. Intellectual Property

The TabExtract website, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by TabExtract and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain all rights to the images you upload and the data extracted from them. Since all processing occurs locally on your device, we never have access to your content and make no claim to ownership of any data you process using the Service.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not guarantee that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
  • The results obtained from the use of the Service will be accurate or reliable.
  • The quality of any products, services, information, or other material purchased or obtained by you through the Service will meet your expectations.

OCR accuracy is not guaranteed. The accuracy of table extraction depends on image quality, table complexity, and other factors. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying the accuracy of any extracted data before relying on it.

6. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL TABEXTRACT, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

  • Your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Service.
  • Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service.
  • Any content obtained from the Service.
  • Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.

This limitation of liability applies whether the alleged liability is based on contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or any other basis, even if TabExtract has been advised of the possibility of such damage.
