TabExtract collects minimal information. The only data stored on your device is:

  • Theme preference — stored in your browser's localStorage to remember your dark/light mode choice.
  • Language preference — stored in your browser's localStorage to remember your selected language.

We do not collect, store, or process any personal information on our servers. We do not require account creation, and we do not ask for your name, email address, or any other identifying information.

2. How the Tool Works

TabExtract is a 100% browser-based application. All image processing and table extraction happens entirely on your device using JavaScript. When you upload an image or paste a screenshot:

  1. The image is loaded into your browser's memory.
  2. Tesseract.js, an open-source OCR engine, processes the image locally on your device.
  3. The extracted table data is displayed for you to edit and export.
  4. All data exists only in your browser's memory and is discarded when you close the tab or navigate away.

3. No Data Transmission

Your images and extracted data are never transmitted to any server. The OCR processing is performed entirely within your browser using Tesseract.js. We have no ability to access, view, or store your images or the data extracted from them. Once you close the browser tab, all processing data is gone.

Google AdSense

We use Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google AdSense may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites.
